Sit Spots & TeachersPayTeachers GIVEAWAY!

I asked, you responded...and I took a little action!  Over Christmas break, I asked my Facebook fans what items they wanted to splurge on for their classrooms.  Without delay, many people answered and without a doubt Sit Spots were the number one "splurge" item that teachers were considering purchasing for their classroom.

I emailed the lovely and fabulous Joyce from Sit Spots to see if she would be willing to donate a set for a giveaway and guess what?  She is willing to donate $50 to ONE follower of my blog.  She also gave me a class set so you could see them in action.

You have no idea how ecstatic I was to see these babies arrived last week!  I was so curious what they would be like, how they would work, if they would REALLY stay put, and if they were helpful to getting my students to the carpet in an orderly manner.  Keep in mind that just because I teach fifth grade does NOT mean that we know how to sit at the carpet.  :)

Each Sit Spot is made of a material that reminded me of velcro.  I was able to attach them to my rug quickly and easily.  If I didn't like the position of my Sit Spot, I was also able to move it from one place to another with ease.  My students have sat on them, we've walked across them, vacuumed over them, and worked on math centers on the rug this week.  All the while, the Sit Spots have remained in place and are looking as good as the day I initially placed them there.

They add a pop of color to my solid colored rug and allow for my students to know exactly where to sit when we do our morning meeting.

There are so many colors and cuts to choose from.  I was seriously amazed with the options.  You can check out the Sit Spot Website to order or check out their Facebook page!

In the Rafflecopter below, you can enter to my giveaway to win one of two $50 Gift Certificates!  :)
